Born in Bradenton Florida, Andrew moved to Orlando to begin his college education at The University of Central Florida. Andrew graduated with his BFA in studio art (emphasis in painting) in 2017. He recieved his Master of Fine Art at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Spring of 2020.

Painting remains an important part of his studio practice. In addition, he identifies as a maker and a multi-media artist. He believes his work no longer has to be a painting to just be a painting. Sometimes a piece wants to be an embroidery, or a glass etching, or even a batik.
